Yufei Chen, MD

Dr. Yufei Chen is a fellowship trained endocrine surgeon who performs thyroid, parathyroid, neuroendocrine and adrenal surgery. Dr. Chen earned his medical degree at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia and completed his General Surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then went on to complete a fellowship in endocrine surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Currently, he is an assistant professor of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and co-director of the Multidisciplinary Adrenal Program. His clinical interest include all aspects of endocrine surgery, including endoscopic, scarless and minimally invasive approaches. He has multiple publications looking at outcomes following endocrine surgery and is actively involved in research looking at novel ways to measure patient quality of life.
