William Hutchinson, MD

William Hutchinson, MD is a very experienced general surgeon with a specialization in surgery that treats malignancies of the breast, thyroid and gallbladder. In addition to his skillset as a general surgeon, he has developed a well-respected expertise in hernia repair. For decades now he has served as the go to surgeon for sports hernia surgical repairs from hundreds of top athletes across our country from a variety of different sports. Dr. Hutchinson has worked with athletes from football, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis and hockey to name just a few. He is the director of the Hernia Center at The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute and is also based out of the Pacific Coast Hernia Center located in Santa Monica. Dr. Hutchinson received his medical degree from McGill University and completed multiple surgical residencies across the greater Los Angeles region.
